Profile:

Drawing from the best traditions of Poland, Hungary and Russia, Cetula is a sterling example of Polish breeding wisdom, always ready to infuse the world’s finest bloodlines into its gene pool.
Cetula’s sire, Brazilian National Champion EL NABILA B, is the pinnacle blending achievement of two historically influential breeding programs, those of Tersk and Babolna. His champion sire KUBINEC has established himself as one of the leading sires in Europe, with his get winning countless championship titles, whereas 218 ELF LAYLA WALAYLA B is regarded as one of the most exemplary Straight Egyptian broodmares originating from the legendary Hungarian stud.
Cetula hails from the acclaimed “C” damline of Janów Podlaski, renowned for capturing the essence of the classic Arabian horse, going far beyond just a pretty head. Equines from the family of CEDUŁA boast captivating looks, victorious performances at the track and phenomenal producing abilities guaranteeing the preservation of these fundamental traits for the next generations, never compromising one feature for another.
The “good looks” factor can be witnessed in CENOZA (Janów Podlaski Autumn Show Champion Filly, Scandinavian Open Reserve Champion Mare, Prague Intercup Bronze Medalist, Janów Podlaski Autumn Show Reserve Champion Mare, European Top Five Mare), CHAOS PERSEFONA (Danish International Champion Filly, Polish National Top Five Filly), Junior Spring Show class winner CEFEIDA and a many time Polish Nationals class Top Five senior mares’ honoree CELNA.
The “stamina” feature can be found in stake winners CETANOL, CEDRAT, CALDERON and the most recent addition to this racing list from last year, the stallion CELTIS - Cetula’s maternal brother - winner of five races, including the 2010 Derby and Criterium Stakes. In an era when racing winners descend from sire and damlines selected exclusively for speed, CELTIS’ achievements take on an even stronger significance.
Whereas proof of the line’s remarkable producing abilities is seen in the breeding record of Cetula’s direct female ancestors:  with 12 foals from her great-grandam CEDUŁA, 13 from her grandam CELNA and 8 so far from her dam CELTA. Prized as valuable breeding material, all three have been offered at the coveted Janów Podlaski Auction in the past years and readily changed owners.
Possessing a versatile genotype nicely wrapped in one fine package, expect Cetula to add value to any barn focused on excellence in every aspect of Arabian horse breeding.
