Although a first glance at her pedigree may surprise you with a lack of Polish accents, a closer look will reveal that the genetic structure of the highly decorated Kashira is built around not only the best Russian, Spanish and Egyptian bloodlines, but also on the most solid foundations in the breed – Polish Arabian horses.

Today the Arabian horse is a truly international breed, in which the influence of the Polish Arabian cannot be underestimated. Pedigrees of many of the world’s luminaries include pillars of our country’s breeding. That is also the case of Kashira’s sire, MAGNUM PSYCHE, a multi US, Canadian & Argentinean Champion Stallion. This US-born sire elegantly combines his Russian heritage of the acclaimed PADRONS PSYCHE with his purely Spanish damline. Polish cornerstones are found in both – the ancestors of PADRONS PSYCHE include such legendary greats as ARAX, AMURATH SAHIB, WIELKI SZLEM, OFIR, PIOŁUN, KASZMIR, TAKI PAN & the peerless broodmatron MAMMONA, whereas the distaff part of MAGNUM’s pedigree includes plenty inbred crosses to three notable Polish stallions exported to Spain at the beginning of the 20th century: URSUS, VAN DYCK & NOWIK, which have left a lasting mark on Arabian breeding in that country.

The Egyptian link in Kashira comes courtesy of her dam KAHILA IV, a Straight Egyptian beauty boasting a multiple linebreeding to NAZEER, an exemplary stallion who re-defined the Arabian type and became the most epoch-changing sire of his time.

Fortunate to be benefitting from the finest specimen in the world, Kashira is condemned to succeed in a truly cosmopolitan manner. She is no stranger to winners’ circles all over Europe, including Austria (as Casino Cup Junior Champion), Norway (International Junior Champion) and Russia (International St. Petersburg Senior Champion). Kashira is also a regular class Top Five honoree from Wels (Austria), Ströhen (Germany), Halden (Norway), Blommeröd (Sweden), Prague (the Czech Republic), the Polish Nationals and the All Nations Cup in 2010, where she bested the majestic PINGA herself. Her trademark feature is a dynamic trot, for which she has been consistently awarded top marks at various events.
