An elegant, harmoniously designed young mare, Harfia not only combines the pinnacle achievements of breeding programs of all of the three State Studs via her remarkable pedigree, but typifies the incredible potential of the Białka horses. With a change in the stud’s management came a new wind, which has added a polish to the many flawless diamonds hidden within Białka’s barns and led them out onto the show arenas and the winners’ circle.

Harfia is a member of Białka’s revered family founded by HERALDYKA, which is gaining more and more acclaim in recent years. Harfia’s immediate relatives of similar age, currently marking their presence on the show arenas, include: Junior Spring Show class winner and class Top Five finalist from the Polish Nationals & Autumn Show HERLINA (a full sister to Harfia’s dam HALIMA), class Top Five finalist from the Warsaw Summer Show & Bełżyce Show HERCA (HALIMA’s half-sister), Junior Spring Show class Top Five HESPERA & Bełżyce and Autumn Show class Top Five HERMIONA (both daughters of HERCA). “Older” family members include champions HEROLDIA, HULANKA & North American show star HUN and multi class Top Five honorees HERALDYKA, HULA, HULALA.

The “H” horses of Białka have also been some the most desirable offerings of past Pride of Poland auctions sought by international clientele as Harfia’s dam & grandam HALIMA and HEROLDIA (both sold to the US), HULANKA (sold to the US), HUSARA (sold to Saudi Arabia) and 160 thousand Euro high-seller HULA (sold to Australia).

The Janów Podlaski link is present in Harfia via her highly decorated sire PIAFF, Polish National Champion Colt & Stallion and US Top Ten Stallion. His genetic potential comes courtesy of the beloved Janów Podlaski matron PIPI, a famed descendant of the stud’s “P” line, whose champion-winning names could easily fill out an entire page. Suffice to say this damline has produced such recent stars and PINGA, PALMETA and double Triple Crown, US National & Al Khalidiah Festival Champion PIANISSIMA. Furthermore, PIAFF is part of five consecutive generations of Polish National Senior Champion Stallions: PARTNER - PENITENT - ELDON - PIAFF himself - and his own son ALERT.

Whereas Michałów added their magic to Harfia’s genotype through her maternal sire EKSTERN, the King of the Ring and the King of Champions, Poland’s most proven living sire of the modern era.
