Profile:

Since its foundation, Białka has been mainly associated with excellent racing horses, with the occasional show star such as PESAL or EMIKA. But that is quickly becoming a thing of the past, as the youngest State Stud has undergone significant changes and under the eye of a new director its graduates are making headlines on the show scene like never before, not only in Poland (CAMILIA, CELLA, CELSJUSZ, EGEMA, PERFIRKA, PERNAL, PEROLIA, PERON), but also across Europe (ABBAR, EMON, EKINA), in America (HUN) and the Middle East (EGEMA). Białka has definitely become a force to be reckoned with, especially with mares such as Herlina.

A seasoned show horse, Herlina has a class win and numerous class Top Five acts and under her belt from all major shows in Poland: the Junior Spring Show in Białka, the Polish Nationals and the Autumn Show in Janów Podlaski. Not only that, she’s getting better as time goes by. Repeatedly recognized with solid “19s” for type, head & neck and movement as at the beginning of her show career, she’s receiving more acclaim as a senior, having been awarded with multiple “19,5s” for the above traits and ultimately scoring the top mark for type at her very last show in 2011. Considering that she’s only 7 years old, you can be sure she hasn’t said her final word.

Daughter of Polish Nationals class winner HEROLDIA, Herlina belongs to the family of HERALDYKA, the most important bloodline of the former Kurozwęki Stud and now that of Białka. The family’s members and Herlina’s closest relatives include All Scandinavian Reserve Champion Mare HULANKA, 2006 Pride of Poland’s 160 thousand Euro high-seller HULA and the recent multiple US show champion HUN. The “H” family traces back to BAŁAŁAJKA’s daughter ARFA, full sister to legendary broodmare BANDOLA & epochal sire BASK.

On the spear side of Herlina’s pedigree we find the no-introduction-needed EKSTERN, Poland’s leading sire of show champions for more than a decade and recently also of valuable broodmares, dams of Polish National Gold Medalist & European Bronze Medalist WIEŻA MOCY, Tulip Cup Gold Medalist & Junior Spring Show Bronze Medalist EL PIATZOLLA, Junior Spring Show Silver Medalist & Polish National Bronze Medalist EQUATOR and Prague InterCup Silver Medalist PADOVA, to mention successes from just last year.
