Profile:
With stunning looks and a highly desirable pedigree, Perespa typifies the aspiring potential of the young mares in the 2012 Pride of Poland collection.
This is Perespa’s second time that she strikes a pose for the most anticipated Arabian horse publication of the year. The perceptive breeder will notice that she has already been featured in the 2007 Pride of Poland catalogue at several months old at the side of her dam POLENTA, who was one of the premier offers at that year’s auction. Though foals are usually meant to add a cuteness factor, Perespa served as a living promotion of her dam in flesh and blood, contributing greatly to the price of 75 thousand Euro which was ultimately offered for POLENTA by Knocke Arabians of Belgium.
Perepa’s debut performance at the Białka show the next year confirmed the praises she received as a newborn. Among extremely tough competition (which included Junior Spring Show Champion/Best in Show, Polish National Junior Champion and 400 thousand Euro Pride of Poland high-seller PALABRA, also sired by ENZO like Perespa) she was awarded with the title of Junior Spring Show Top Five Mare (at third place), with a total score of 91,67 and a top mark for type. Perespa continued to turn heads as a two year old at Białka and the Polish Nationals, where she placed in the Top Fives of her classes.
Perespa remains the only Polish-bred produce of her dam POLENTA, a full sister to the highly acclaimed PALMETA, Polish National, European & World Championship finalist and producer of show champions PALATINO, PALATINA & the afore mentioned PALABRA. POLENTA & PALMETA’s dam, PILICA, was one of the many enormously successful offspring of the peerless PIPI, a stellar group of equines which included two chief sires PILOT & PIAFF and broodmares PISTACJA, PIKARDIA & PILAR, the latter of which surpassed her dams achievements by foaling as many as seven champion-winning produce: PIETA, PINTA, PINGA, PIZARRO, PILAROSA, PIBA & POMIAN.
Through her sire ENZO, Perespa benefits from the influences of the distinguished PADRON and BEY SHAH. This bloodline has found fertile soil in Poland, as it is not only ENZO that has crossed well with Polish broodmares, resulting in PALABRA, EMPIRE, ALBANO, EL OMARI & DAMA PIK, but so has his son EDEN C, whose first Polish crop includes numerous winning get as PRIMERA, AMANITO, BERENIKA, AMERIGO & NOMAD.
