 With a pedigree constructed from two of the finest Straight Egyptian specimen of the modern era and two of Poland’s most revered damlines, Elirdia represents the brilliance of creation that has been the trademark of Michałów Stud for decades.

Through her paternal and maternal champion sires, SANADIK EL SHAKLAN & LAHEEB, Elirdia benefits from the influence of the legendary NAZEER, to which both stallions have been remarkably linebred. Each one proved an unparallel success as an outcross to Polish mares. During his lease LAHEEB gifted Polish breeding with an array of star offspring, a roster of champions which includes WIEŻA BABEL, GALILEA, PUSTYNNA DROGA, EGEA, EMESA, ELLISSARA, EMIRA, SIKLAWA, ESTORIA, DUMKA, ELOIDA, EMILIUSZ, EDIN & POGANIN, Elirdia’s sire. LAHEEB’s sons and daughters are renowned for their exceptional siring and producing abilities and are therefore regarded as “hot items” on the market, which has been often reflected in the prices achieved by them when offered via the Pride of Poland sales. SANADIK EL SHAKLAN, used by means of frozen semen, had a much lesser number of Polish get to his name, but the results were nothing short of spectacular. Beside ELIGIA, Elirdia’s dam, SANADIK EL SHAKLAN bestowed upon the State Studs the likes of multi Polish, European & US National champion EL DORADA and ANDALUZJA, a dynamic mover, Polish Nationals finalist, Pride of Poland high-seller at 100 thousand Euro and dam of Polish National Junior & Senior Champion Stallion ALERT.

Whereas two of the oldest and most significant Polish damlined of today are present in Elirdia through her champion sire POGANIN, who carries the precious “P” genotype of PIEWICA and dam ELIGIA, who brings the excellence of Michałów’s “E” dynasty of champions stemming from ESTOKADA. Both lines have brought immense fame to Polish breeding through their numerous champion descendants, two immaculate collections which include such nobilities as PIECHUR, PEPTON, PILARKA, PIPI, PILAR, PALMETA, POGROM and EMIGRACJA, EMIGRANTKA, EKSTERN, EMANACJA, respectively. Interestingly, both damlines are also responsible for two of the greatest Polish bred Arabian individuals of the last decade - PIANISSIMA & EMANDORIA.

ELIGIA, Elirdia’s dam, graced the Pride of Poland stage in 2006, when she was purchased by the stud of Azrek Arabians. She has since blessed her new owner with a full sister to Eligia, AZREK ELOZET, a highly decorated mare from the most prestigious shows of South Africa.
