 Sired by the world’s most influential stallion in Arabian horse breeding of the modern era, GAZAL AL SHAQAB, and out of a sister to the magnificent FALLADA, who ruled the show arenas and Pride of Poland auction stage in 2009, Funkia is a mare that the experienced breeder will not want to walk away from.

FALLADA, highly decorated as twice Junior Spring Show Champion/Best in Show (once besting KWESTURA and the other time ZAGROBLA, who had to settle for the titles of Reserves), World Reserve Champion, Polish National Champion (on this occasion outdoing EMANDA), Canadian National Champion Mare and auction high-seller at 465 thousand Euro, is not the only esteemed sibling of FANTAZJA, Funkia’s dam. Others include UK regional champion FERRARI and Polish National Champion FORTISSIMA - in turn dam of multi Brazilian champion FERRYT. FANTAZJA herself is no stranger to the show ring, as she is a class winner from the Junior Spring Show in Białka and class Top Three finalist from the Polish Nationals. Her first produce, FILISTA (full sister to Funkia), was a huge hit among the 2009 Pride of Poland clientele, finally coming in at 62 thousand Euro for Kuwait.

FANTAZJA & FALLADA are both proud descendants of FORTA, Poland’s most acclaimed damline of athletically gifted Kuhailans, via her Oaks winning daughter FATMA. FATMA established her own sub-line of FORTA’s family, blessing the breed with one of Michałów’s greatest sires of all time, FAWOR, considered the best Polish son of legendary PROBAT as Polish National Junior & Senior Champion, European Champion & World Champion Stallion. FAWOR has forever etched himself in the history of Polish breeding with such superb broodmares as PILICA, PILAR & ALBIGOWA, to name but a few.

The genotype of another Michałów-bred sire of importance, WACHLARZ, can be found in Funkia as the sire of her dam FANTAZJA. WACHLARZ is a the leading representative of Krzyżyk d.b., the oldest sire line in Poland, which over the decades has produced some of the hardiest stallions of the breed such as BANAT, ARBIL & PIECHUR. His excellent type is further enhanced by his splendid damline of WADERA, cornerstone of the Michałów breeding program, source of WARMIA, WIZJA, WILEJKA, WOJSŁAW, WIAŹMA, WAGRAM and a full set of champion “Towers” (in Polish “Wieża”): WIEŻA BABEL, WIEŻA WIATRÓW, WIEŻA MOCY & WIEŻA RÓŻ.
