Profile:

The wonderfully designed Karolina possesses the best pedigree recommendation an Arabian horse can ask for - she is the maternal sister to the epic KWESTURA. Period. This chestnut icon has become a living legend of our time as a champion of the highest caliber, champion producer and price record holder in history. KWESTURA’s most prestigious titles of Polish National, US National, All Nations Cup, twice European, twice World Champion Mare, and most recently Dubai International Champion Mare. Her son KABSZTAD, a double Polish National Champion and current chief sire at Michałów, caught the eye of the Saudi Arabian Athbah Stud and under their wings went on to conquer the Middle East & Europe. KWESTURA also made headlines as the highest selling horse in the history of Polish breeding after an electrifying bidding won by Ajman Stud at 1,125 million Euro at the 2008 Pride of Poland Sale, trumping the record of Penicylina at 1,5 million dollars, which endured since 1976.

Although KWESTURA is sold, the chance to acquire the same maternal gene pool remains through Karolina, just one of two of the chestnut champion’s sisters and the only one left in Poland. The second, KRYNOLINA, has long ago been secured by the Royal Jaafar Stud of Jordan.

Both Karolina and KWESTURA hail from an extremely accomplished damline, as both their dam and granddam, KWESTA and KABAŁA, were Polish National Champions. Furthermore KABAŁA, also an All Nations Cup Reserve Champion accolade, continued her successful streak in the breeding barn by also producing US National Champion KAWALKADA & multi halter and ridden champion KORDELAS. All these in turn trace back to the lovely CARMEN, dam of the epochal post-war sire COMET.

To spice things up Karolina is a daughter of champion sire LAHEEB, by far the most significant Egyptian stallion utilized in Poland in this century. LAHEEB brought Polish breeding an elite group of top class champions, such as WIEŻA BABEL, GALILEA, PUSTYNNA DROGA, EGEA, EMESA, ELLISSARA, EMIRA, SIKLAWA, ESTORIA, DUMKA, ELOIDA, EMILIUSZ, EDIN & POGANIN. Moreover LAHEEB daughters are proving their worth as valuable broodmares, having produced EL SAGHIRA & EMPIRE (out of EMIRA), WIEŻA RÓŻ (out of WIEŻA BABEL) & South African show stars AZREK ELZOTYKA, AZREK ELOIGE & AZREK PRINS ELDON (out of ELOIDA).
