Profile:
A classic Michałów-bred broodmare and consistent producer, topped off with good looks acknowledged in the show arena, Perga is the perfect addition to any breeding program worldwide.
Her type and conformation have been tested at Poland’s two strictest shows for Arabian horses: the Junior Spring Show in Białka and the Polish National Show at Janów Podlaski, both of which brought her class Top Five accolades. At these Perga went head to head with such champions as EMIRA, AMRA, GALILEA, EGEA & WIEŻA BABEL and among this crowd was consistently appreciated with solid “19s” for type, head & neck and body & topline, on one occasion even outdoing such a notable name as EMESA, the future Wels International Senior Reserve Champion, Polish National & European Senior Top Five and World Senior Top Ten.
Perga is a full sister to PRUDENCJA, who boasts similar show successes as a Junior Spring Show & Polish Nationals class Top Five finalist and also bears the title of Warsaw Summer Show Senior Reserve Champion Mare. Both ladies can also take pride in their half-brother PRIAM, a hardy athlete who brought home money-earning finishes in six out of eight stakes in which he competed, among them the Arabian Produce (Janów Podlaski) Stakes. Other close relatives include champions PREMIA, PREMIERA, PREMIER, PALBA, PIAWEA, PALANGA, PADOVA, PAVOROTTO K.A. and the high-selling duo of the 2011 Pride of Poland Sale - PANIKA (at 120 thousand Euro) & PIACENZA (at 475 thousand Euro). All these “P” individuals trace back to the Janów Podlaski broodmatron TARASZCZA, dam of the epochal sire NEGATIW.
Furthermore Perga is the only daughter of EMIGRANT available at the 2012 Pride of Poland Sale. Michałów had for years turned down numerous purchase offers for the regally bred champion sire, having agreed to part with him only lately at the age of 17. The royally bred EMIGRANT left behind a legacy of superbly producing daughters, through whom he became the “grandfather” to, among others, Polish National Junior Champion, Scandinavian Open Senior Champion & Polish National Senior Bronze Medalist ALBANO, Junior Spring Show Champion CHIMERYK, Polish National Junior Bronze Medalist, European Junior Top Five, World Junior Top Ten, Junior Spring Show Champion/Best in Show PIACENZA and Autumn Show Junior Champion/Best in Show & Abu Dhabi International Junior Bronze Medalist EGEMA.
