Cyrylica holds a remarkably interesting pedigree, as she is linebred to one of the most important Janów Podlaski-bred broodmares foaled before WW II - SAGA. A sister to WYRWIDĄB (one of the “W” chief sire sons of OFIR taken as spoils of war to the US by the retreating army), SAGA has foaled the most significant family founder in Polish Arabian horse breeding - ESTOKADA, the first generation of Michałów’s “E” dynasty of show champions, from which stems Cyrylica’s sire, EMPRES. Another of SAGA’s daughters, CANARIA, produced chief sire CELEBES, a petit beauty that provided Polish breeding with the revered broodmatron ALGERIA. And it is through CANARIA that Cyrylica can lay claim to the damline of SAGA.
Herself a class top five finalist from the show in Bełżyce, Cyrylica is a dam of two good racing horses (CARYCA & CAR) and a sister to two exceptional broodmares: CONTRA & CETRA. CONTRA has produced Autumn Show Junior Reserve Champion CZAR DAM and class top fives’ CZAR MADAM & CALLISTO, whereas CETRA put Kurozwęki Stud back on the show map with Autumn Show Junior Reserve Champion CERIO, Wrocław Summer Show Junior Top Five CALIDRIS and Polish Nationals class top five CEILAN.
