Constructed around a triple helping of the letter „W”, Wołynianka is actually a combination of all of Poland’s “double u” damlines - those of WERBENA & WILGA.
Both of Wołynianka’s sires - WERMUT & WOŁYŃ - trace back to family founder WERBENA through WARMIA, Michałów’s Kuhailan broodmatron extraordinaire. The queen of the stud back in her day, WARMIA produced two chief sires - WERMUT & WOROBLIN and two champion daughters - US National Champion WIZJA & Polish National Junior Reserve Champion WILEJKA, who continued their dam’s successes in the breeding barn. WILEJKA remains best known as dam of chief sire Polish National Senior Champion & Blommeröd Reserve Champion WOJSŁAW, whereas WIZJA left her maternal stud with her look-alike Junior Spring Show Champion daughter WIAŹMA, predecessor of the “Wieża” (“Tower”) dynasty and some of the most recent stars of the show arena. WIAŹMA’s offspring include chief sire WOŁYŃ, Junior Spring Show Champion/Best in Show, Polish National Junior Reserve Champion, World Junior Top Ten WIEŻA WIATRÓW, Junior Spring Show Champion/Best in Show WIEŻA BABEL and freshly crowned granddaughters - 2009 Polish National Junior Champion WIEŻA RÓŻ & WIEŻA MOCY - the 2012 World Junior Champion.
Wołynianka’s direct damline descends from WILGA by means of the great Kurozwęki mother-daughter duo: WIORSTA - a Gold Medalist and Reserve International Show Champion at an exhibition in Stockholm and Reserve International  Show Champion in Blommeröd - and her daughter WIZYTA - All Scandinavian Junior Champion. WIZYTA, dam of Wołynianka, has also produced the Janów Podlaski leading broodmare WANILIA - dam of class Top Three finalists (from the Junior Spring Show & Polish Nationals) WATRA, WANDALIN & WOŁOGDA.
