A class top five from her debut showing at the Junior Spring Show in Białka, Orlanka’s pedigree is actually based around serious track athletes, some of the most renown in Polish breeding.
Orlanka’s dam OSAKA, a double race winner, is sired by EUROPEJCZYK - a Polish National Senior Champion and unbeaten track star as the winner of eight races, including the Derby, Criterium & Arabian Produce St. On the distaff side OSAKA descends from OFIRKA through her Triple Crown racing daughter ORLA. ORLA established an “O” racing dynasty in Janów Podlaski rivaling that of SABELLINA. OSAKA’s direct link to ORLA comes through the latter’s best daughter, the also Triple Crowned, ORGIA. The family’s stake winning members include ORIGAN, ORDER, ORNAK, OLIMPIC, ORSZAK, OSTRAGON, OM-KARMA and another Triple Crown female, which added one more glorious chapter to ORLA’s line in the new millenium - ORGIA FATA.
But it’s not all about muscles - ORLA’s family can also boast show stars. One that has definitely become the damline’s posterchild is OLITA - Scandinavian Champion, World Senior Top Ten, Burbank RCAHA Annual Spring Horse Show Champion, Arabian Breeders World Cup Senior Top Five, Scottsdale Senior Reserve Champion & Autumn Show Senior Bronze Medalist.
The racing heritage in Orlanka is complemented by her sire ASLAN. A four time winner from the track, second in the Arabian Produce St. and a strong favorite for the blue Derby sash (a race which he was withdrawn out of due to an injury), ASLAN is also a Polish National Junior Reserve Champion and grandson of ALGERIA.
