Zorza Poranna - translating to „the lights of dawn” - is a wonderfully constructed specimen from Poland’s “Z” line of ZŁOTA IWA. Interestingly ZŁOTA IWA began two separate sub-lines through her daughters ZAZULA & ZAMIEĆ, each specializing in a different area of Arabian endeavor.
ZAZULA’s subline, which remained in Michałów and focused on showy equines, has blessed Polish breeding with champions ZŁOTY KSIĄŻĘ, ZŁOTA WIEŻA, ZŁOTA KSIĘGA, ZENIA, ZAGORA, ZMOWA, ZŁOTOGŁÓW and one of the most famed Polish broodmares in the world today - ZAGROBLA, twice Polish National Reserve Champion, All Nations Cup Champion, twice European Reserve Champion, World Champion, Scottsdale Reserve Champion, US National Champion, among others and her daughter ZIGI ZANA - Junior Spring Show Reserve Champion, Polish National Junior Champion, twice European Junior Reserve Champion, World Junior Top Ten & Wels International Junior Reserve Champion.
ZAMIEĆ, transferred to Kurozwęki, initiated a racing-oriented family. Its stake winning members include ZAWADIAKA, ZALEW, ZŁOTY POTOK, ZAFIR, ZARINA, ZAKU & ZBÓJNA GÓRA. Surprisingly, it is this strain that Zorza Poranna’s direct granddam ZALICZKA hails from, dam of several show contenders, as seen in: ZANZIRA (2nd in class at the Czech Nationals), ZORIAN (Mińce Junior Reserve Champion), ZINGARA (class winner from the Radpuszta show in Hungary and class top five from Białka and Janów Podlaski) & ZŁOTA MAGIA (Autumn Show class top five finalist).
Zorza’s sire WOŁYŃ is a result of mating Michałów’s finest individuals - All Nations Cup Reserve Champion, European Champion & Polish National Senior Champion EMIGRANT with Junior Spring Show Champion WIAŹMA, a robust Kuhailan and granddam to the 2012 World Junior Champion, WIEŻA MOCY.
