Adelina is a splendid mix of two esteemed Michałów damlines which take root in the legendary Janów Podlaski broodmatron OFIRKA. One of OFIR’s most renown and famous daughters, OFIRKA was lost during the turmoil of WW II. Miraculously found, she showed her gratitude by producing 18 (!) foals, out of which three fillies - ORLA, GASTRONOMIA & ADIS ABEBA - established their own, different lettered families of significance.
GASTRONOMIA appears in Adelina through her sire GRAFIK, the best EUKALIPTUS son used in breeding. This multi champion, among others All Nations Cup Senior Top Five, European Senior Reserve Champion, twice World Senior Top Ten & Polish National Senior Champion Stallion stems from a line of showy athletes, successful both at the track and on the show arena. These G-named fames include Polish National Champions: GALILEA, GANGES, GARONNA, as well as GRAFIK’s very own brother (GASPAR) and dam (GASKONIA), Derby winners: GAFAL, GWARO & GEPARD, Oaks winners: GARONNA & GENEZA and Criterium St. winners: GENEZA & GEPARD.
ADIS ABEBA, another Oaks winner, is Adelina’s direct female link to OFIRKA .The first show accolade awarded to an “A” family member was the title of Polish National Reserve Champion, earned by ADIS ABEBA’s granddaughter ARTEMIDA. The line’s most recent broodmatron of importance is ARMENIA, dam of 14 foals, among which we find Lesieniec St. winner ARUMBA, Falborek Reserve Champion ARGUS, Junior Spring Show class top three finalists ARLEKIN, ARPAD & ARAD and Adelina’s “dangerously” charming dam ANAKONDA, who also produced Junior Spring Show class top fives ARGOLIDA & ABGAR.  Adelina continues this grand tradition with her first-born daughter ARNIKA, a class Top Five from the Junior Show at Białka.
