Alcazara is a pleasant blend of two of the finest Kuhailan damlines bred in Poland, “G” of  GASTRONOMIA and “A” of ALGERIA, each the best in its respective State Stud.
Alcazara’s dam ALHAMBRA, who contrary to her bay family sports a milky-white coat color inherited from Polish National Champion ECAHO, is a senior mares’ class winner from the Polish Nationals, an Autumn Show Senior Reserve Champion and ultimately - Autumn Show Senior Champion Mare. ALHAMBRA is a sister to AMRA, Pride of Poland 2008 high-seller at 340 thousand Euro, Warsaw Summer Show Junior Champion/Best in Show & Polish National Junior Champion/Best in Show. Both ladies trace back to the grandest Kuhailan mare in the history of Polish breeding - the doe eyed ALGERIA, a favorite of legendary Director Krzyształowicz. This Polish National Senior Champion Mare, also dubbed “the mare that lay golden eggs” for the oftentimes enormous sums paid for her produce, foaled some of the finest Kuhailan-type Arabians of the past quarter century. Her champion offspring list includes ALGERINA, ALEGRO, ALMERIA, ALBULA & ALBIGOWA.
In Alcazara the heritage of ALGERIA meets the “bold and beautiful” family of GASTRONOMIA, responsible for some of the most remarkable athletic show stars of the last decades - the best example being Alcazara’s sire himself, GANGES (twice Polish National Junior Reserve Champion, Blommeröd International Senior Champion/Best in Show, Polish National Senior Champion, All Nations Cup Reserve Champion, US Columbus Champion, US National Reserve Champion and Koheilan I St. winner) and his dam GARONNA (Polish National Reserve Champion and an Oaks St. winner).
