The most internationally acclaimed equine of the 2013 Pride of Poland collection, El Saghira has competed at shows in Poland, Europe and the Middle East, bringing home a plethora of titles for both owner Michałów and then lessee Athbah Stud of Saudi Arabia, such as Junior Spring Show Top Five, Belgian Arabian Prestige Junior Reserve Champion, Towerlands Junior Reserve Champion, Ströhen Senior Bronze Medalist (fun fact: she stood on the podium with her dam EMIRA, who took the Gold), Polish National Senior Reserve Champion & World Senior Top Ten.
Similarly to the most noble of wines, El Saghira is blooming more beautifully with each year. One of her most memorable performances comes from last year’s Polish Nationals, where she was crowned Senior Reserve Champion Mare behind show veteran PALMETA, though both received an identical, highest score of the show - 92,67. Our 5 year old proved superior to such experienced competitors as SEFORA, NORMA, WILDA, PISTORIA & ESPADRILLA.
But then El Saghira was destined to succeed - she is the 9^th generation of show winners in an unbroken line of champions stemming  from Michałów’s “E” dynasty founder ESTOKADA. This incredible line of females, beginning with El Saghira’s dam EMIRA and upwards: EMBRA-EMILDA-EMANACJA-EMIGRACJA-EMISJA-ESPADA-ESKAPADA, share between them numerous Polish National, European, All Nations Cup and other international champion titles, whereas the doyenne of this family, ESTOKADA, had no shows in her days to boast her looks, but in turn displayed her athletic talent, winning the Oaks & Criterium Stakes at the track.
Further confirmation that El Saghira is not just a chance breeding coincidence are her younger brothers: Polish National Junior Top Five EMIRZO and the highly decorated EMPIRE. This Junior Spring Show Reserve Champion, Polish National Junior Champion, European Junior Bronze Medalist, World Junior Top Ten and Wels Junior Champion is making his debut this year as chief sire, ensuring the prolongation of this priceless gene pool.
