With a heritage of historical broodmatrons paired up with EKSTERN, Enaam is a real treat for Polish Arabian horse aficionados - but by no means is she limited to being just a stellar pedigree on paper.
Underneath the subtle Arabian looks lies a real powerhouse of a racing horse. Fillies sent to the track usually participate in one year of races in order to allow for correct muscle development, whereas Enaam has gone beyond simply “maturing” during her training days - not only has she completed two full seasons of racing, but done so with great successes to her name. Among her 12 starts she nailed 11 money-earning finishes, this including 2 wins and a close second in the Oaks, being shunned by just half a length by Janów Podlaski’s alum of their “S” racing dynasty, SAJRA. Great athletic results go hand in hand with perfect conformation and strong stamina, which is typical of Enaam’s family and strongly consolidated in their genotype. Her siblings (EL SERIBE, EBRO, ELMAN, ELWA), dam (ELWIRA) and granddam (EWIWA) have also collected earnings from the track, winning 1st group races and placing high in stakes
But Enaam is not all about brawn. Through her dam ELWIRA, Enaam benefits from  the immeasurable influence of four legendary Janów Podlaski matrons in her pedigree: ARBA, BANDOLA, ALGONKINA & ETNA. ARBA is remembered as the dam of five chief sires and the “bold and beautiful” ARRA, a Triple Crown winner from the track, European & Polish National Champion from the show arena. BANDOLA, “the Queen of Poland”, appears through two of her most significant sons: UK Champion BANAT & the best post-war bred sire in Polish history, BANDOS. ALGONKINA, family founder of Janów Podlaski’s extremely successful line of “A” champs with ALGERIA & AMRA, forwards her genotype to Enaam by means of her Polish National & Swedish National Champion grandson, ALOES.
Whereas the aristocratic ETNA is Enaam’s direct female progenitor. A producer of many superb offspring from matings with various different sires, ETNA left the breed with five chief sires utilized in international breeding (ETAN, ETIW, ETAP, ETERNIT & ETNOGRAF) and splendid daughters, the best of which included the legendary ETRURIA & champion EQUITANA. From them descend numerous masters of the show arena, an unforgettable list of names including ETOGRAM, ECAHO, EQUIFOR & ETNOLOGIA.
On the spear side of Enaam’s pedigree we find the no-introduction-needed EKSTERN, Poland’s leading sire of show champions for over a decade and recently also of valuable broodmares. Just the current famed EKSTERN grand-get include WIEŻA MOCY & EQUATOR, reigning World Junior Champion & World Junior Reserve Champion, respectively.
