Profile:
Combining the ultimate Kuhailan damlines of Poland, Warsa represents the incredible strength that the Polish breeding program has long been famous for.
GANGES is a sire that literally screams „masculine” all over. Tall and robust, with perfectly developed muscles, GANGES is a real powerhouse of a horse. A tenacious athlete as the winner of three races, including the Koheilan I St., yet not lacking the coveted Arabian type, proof of which are his numerous titles from the show arena, the most important including Blommeröd International Senior Champion/Best in Show, Polish National Senior Champion, All Nations Cup Reserve Champion, Columbus Champion & US National Reserve Champion. Both his good looks and stamina are deeply rooted in GANGES’ genotype, a combination of champion-producer MONOGRAMM and Michałów’s “G” damline of athletic Kuhailans, who are also well acquainted with rose garlands around their necks. A close example: GANGES’ dam GARONNA - a Polish National Reserve Champion Mare & Oaks St. winner from the track.
In Warsa the quality of GANGES is further amplified by the hardiness of the Kurozwęki branch of the “W” damline of JASKÓŁKA II. Considered the former State Stud’s most significant broodmatrons – Gold Medalist and Reserve International Show Champion at an exhibition in Stockholm, Reserve International Show Champion in Blommeröd WIORSTA and her daughter All Scandinavian Junior Champion WIZYTA - these two have provided Polish breeding with racing greats: WHISKI, WIATKA, WŁODARZ and successful show contenders, including Junior Spring Show Reserve Champion WASA, Prague Intercup Junior Bronze Medalist WABIA & Ahwaz International Senior Reserve Champion WISPERA.
Upon the liquidation of Kurozwęki the “W” line returned to Janów Podlaski with the good broodmare WANILIA, who thanked her new caretakers by producing regular class top three finalists from the Junior Spring Show and/or the Polish Nationals: WANDALIN, WOŁOGDA (also a class winner from Białka) & WATRA, Warsa’s dam.
During her performance at Białka WATRA was recognized with a total score of 90,67 points. One of her strongest assets is an appreciable trot, with a phenomenal length of stride and perfectly cadenced rhythm - a talent for which she has been awarded sets of solid 19s in every one of her showings. The culprit behind WATRA’s magnificent movement is the high-trotting, twice US Top Ten Stallion and Scottsdale English Pleasure Reserve Champion METROPOLIS NA, an American sire with a triplefold link to the Janów Podlaski-bred pillar broodmatron MAMMONA - through his damline, his dam’s sire MUSCAT and living legend grandsire MONOGRAMM. Always a stunning mover, METROPOLIS has recently added further performance achievements to his collection with wins in the Classic Pleasure and Dressage classes at the Autumn Show in Janów Podlaski.
